The wooden leather clamp is an indispensable accessory for every billiard player. When you attach new adhesive leather to the top of your cue or the white ferrule, it is important that the leather adheres optimally. This is where the wooden leather clamp comes in: it exerts continuous pressure during the adhesive process, ensuring that the adhesive leather adheres firmly to the ferrule.
It is very easy to use: apply glue to the roughened leather and place it on the ferrule. You can now change the final position by moving the adhesive leather until it is centered. Now attach the leather clamp and secure everything. Then pull the wooden ring down while applying pressure. The ring will eventually stick to the cue tip. Now you can remove any excess adhesive, e.g., with a tissue. Apply constant pressure to the adhesive leather and set the cue aside until everything has hardened. The next day, remove the leather clamp, clean the transition between the ferrule and the leather with sandpaper, and you're ready to play again.
