The next generation of darts was developed for Phil "The Power" Taylor, 16-time world champion.
Target worked closely with Phil Taylor to perfect this dart. Phil was looking for an improved, finer grip area at the rear of the barrel to improve the comfort of the dart.
Target was able to fulfill this request by hand-finishing the rear section of the barrel using sandblasting technology and extremely fine particles to achieve a distinct matte texture. The entire barrel is then coated with an ultra-hard, black titanium nitride coating to ensure long-lasting protection.
Target has also made a major upgrade to the dart tip. The dart now features a titanium-coated Black Diamond Pro tip, which is designed to further minimize slippage from the board. The Diamond Pro tip also offers a grip area for players who like to rest a finger there.
The Phil Taylor Power 9Five Gen 4 features new black titanium-coated shafts with improved grooves for added grip.
