Instructions for the dart variant Cricket

Objective of the Game - Cricket:
The objective of Cricket is to score as many points as possible by hitting and marking specific sections on the dartboard. Players must try to hit as many target numbers as possible before their opponent does.

Game Preparation:
Cricket is played with two or more players. Each player must throw three darts in turn to determine who starts the game. The player with the highest score begins.

Gameplay:
At the start of the game, players must aim to hit the numbers 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, and the bullseye. Each number must be hit a total of three times by each player before it is considered “closed.” When a player hits a number that has not yet been closed, it is marked with a slash. When a player hits a number that is already closed, it is marked with an X.
If a player hits a number that is not yet closed, the score value of that number is added to their total. If a player hits a number that has already been closed, no additional points are awarded. The bullseye is worth 50 points. The game ends when a player has closed all the numbers and has more points than their opponent. Alternatively, the game can also end when a player has scored more than half of all possible points.

Strategy:
To be successful in Cricket, players need a solid strategy. It’s important to close the numbers in the right order to maximize points. Most players start by closing the higher numbers (such as 20 and 19) since they yield the most points. However, it’s also important to close the bullseye early to secure a strong score advantage.

Summary:
Cricket is a fun and popular darts game that is easy to learn but difficult to master. The aim of the game is to score as many points as possible by hitting and marking specific numbers on the dartboard. A good strategy and strong focus are key to success in Cricket.
