2BA thread on darts
Most soft tip darts have a 2BA thread for the dart tips. If you're unsure what diameter you need, there's a little trick. All dart shafts have a 2BA thread. You simply unscrew the dart shaft and try to screw it into the other end of the dart barrel, where the soft tip is normally screwed in. If the shaft fits, your barrel has a 2BA thread on both sides. If the diameter in your barrel is larger and the shaft can't be screwed in because its thread is too small, then your dart has a 1/4 BSF thread, and you need the matching soft tip darts.
